Hello! I'm Hossai, pronounced O-sigh :)
I'm a Product Designer from Toronto 🇨🇦 currently based in Doha, Qatar 🇶🇦
After four years in visual design and freelancing, I had an “aha” moment that led me into UX, a perfect fit for my passion for accessible, intuitive, and purposeful design. Being self-taught with a visual background shaped me into a hybrid designer who cares deeply about both craft and experience.
Over the past five years, I’ve worked across government at the Ontario Digital Service 💼, non-profit organizations, UX consulting at Publicis Sapient 👩💻 for Marriott, Walmart Canada and at Air Miles ✈️, the most recognized loyalty program in Canada.
Most recently, I was a UX Designer at LaunchGood 💚 where I designed features like Event Mode, a real-time fundraising experience that helped raise $2M+ in six months and led redesigns that improved conversion and strengthened the design system.
Currently, I’m the UX Lead & Principal Designer at SaraaSits 💜 a mobile app connecting parents with trusted caregivers, where I lead end-to-end product design ahead of our August 2025 launch.
I’ve also recently completed my Master’s in Service Design at BAU, Barcelona College of Arts & Design 🇪🇸
